Graduates are typically surrounded with words and cards of congratulations as graduation approaches. For foster youth who have beat the odds to attain their diploma, this achievement is a quiet one with worries about their next stage in life.
As a community, we can show these youth their hard work has not gone unnoticed and we believe in them.
Gather your friends, co-workers, or go at it solo, helping is easy! Simply purchase or make cards of congratulations and pick up gift cards to include inside as a special treat. These gift cards could be to restaurants, Starbucks, or places that will help them buy essentials as they move out on their own like Target or Amazon.
Once complete please mail cards to Ticket to Dream at the address below and we’ll match them with graduating youth. If interested in helping please email info@tickettodream.org with the number of youth you expect to create cards for. We kindly ask that cards arrive to us by April 5th so we can ensure they arrive before graduation.
