Gifts of Stock
You can use appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares that you have held long-term to make a donation to Ticket to Dream instead of cash. These gifts frequently help individuals avoid the tax liability on the appreciated value of the stocks, bonds, or securities. Donor Advised Funds
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs) are a popular way for individuals to maximize tax benefits while supporting the causes they care about. These funds are typically managed by large financial institutions or community foundations that serve as the charitable sponsor. Making a distribution is easy just provide your mangement service our name, EIN, address (found below) and the total to donate. We'll put it to work for kids.

QCDs allow individuals aged 70½ and older to donate up to $105,000 per year (or $210,000 for couples) from their IRAs without counting it as taxable income. QCD's can be used to meet required minimum distributions (RMDs), making them an excellent way to support foster children while optimizing your tax situation.
