Take Flight: 1 in 5 foster youth is homeless within a year of aging out of care and only 3% will ever earn a college degree. Ticket to Dream’s Take Flight program aims to empower foster youth for the future. We do this by providing laptops to foster youth in high school and celebrating their graduation and education successes. We also fund support programs that help them graduate high school, earn a degree, find employment, learn vital life skills, and ensure they have housing upon aging out. Since the inception of Take Flight, we have helped more than 20,000 youth aging out of foster care.
GoPlay!: Every child should have the opportunity to find their passion and learn important life skills by joining a sports team, taking dance classes or music lessons, even attending summer camp or taking a trip to the zoo. With the communities continued support distribute thousands of tickets to fun events and have donated over $2.8 million to fund extracurricular activities for foster kids.

Support Services: With over 200 foster care partners, there is no shortage of worthwhile and life-impacting programs that need funding. Over the years and as we raise financial support, Ticket to Dream donates to specific initiatives or programs across the country that improve the lives of foster youth. In the past, we have donated money to support emergency placement services, therapeutic services, CASA, scholarships for foster youth, sibling re-unification experiences, and other great programs. Rest assured we thoroughly research these initiatives, decide as a board what to support, and follow through to ensure all donations are making a difference in the lives of foster children.
